Back To School, Back To Blogging

I sent my girls back to school this morning and now I'm sitting here in this quiet house wondering why I was looking forward to school starting. I'm not going to lie. I cried before they were even out of my sight this morning. Like a baby. The ugly cry. Don't worry, they didn't see me crying. I just can't believe Destiny is in 4th grade and Paisley is in 2nd now! It will be even harder for me when Delaney starts Birth-Three class next month. I just don't know how I'll manage.

  1. Kaleena, they are all three getting so big.

    Just as lovely as ever!
I find it hard to believe that school is starting already. Seems like yesterday that it ended for the summer.

    Have a great day.

  2. Think of it as "getting some ME time". Do things that may be hard to do when the girls are at home. I rarely got that kind of time since I was also working most of the years that the kids were in school. Still working and I now treasure any "ME" time. Sometimes I don't get much.

Hang in there. Hope all is well with you.

  4. Wow! Their summer is over quick. Actually I think your girls got out of school way before my two did so it makes sense. Mine go back to school on the 25th.

Elisha will be in 3rd and Bethany will be in 2nd, so I can totally relate to your tears!

  5. Welcome back to blogging again. We miss you and your pictures when you are not here.

Cute pictures - hope they are excited about returning to school. Now, you have more time for Delaney and all her therapy appointments.

    Have a wonderful day.

  6. Your girls are lovely :-)

I always cry on the first day of school. And on birthdays too. I can't help it - I love them so much and they're growing too fast!
