God loves me more than that!" -an excerpt from "God Loves Me More Than ThatI've discovered a fantastic new book for my girls! The book is "God Loves Me More Than That" and it was written by Dandi Daley Mackall. Mackall did a wonderful job explaining the enormity of God's love and the illustrator, David Hohn, did a beautiful job of painting visual images of the author's words.
The book is rhythmic enough to captivatate a two year old's attention. It also uses basic wording for a new, inexperienced reader, such as my middle child. My nine year old has even been begging me to let her read it aloud to her sisters every night since we got this book in the mail.
I'm happy that I was given the chance to read and review this book and I will definitely be recommending "God Loves Me More Than That" to all of my friends.

Homeschooling the girls has been a fun and new adventure for me. I love having them home with me and feel so much safer knowing that they are here with me and not at school getting picked on. They seem to really enjoy being here and they both are eager to learn. We've been working this week on testing. I'm getting a good idea of what level they are on in each subject and it makes me sad to see how far behind they actually are. I'm thinking that pulling them out was a good decision! I hope to get them caught up quickly, as they are both really into learning new things. My girls are smart and they'll catch on quickly I think. Our biggest thing is getting a routine started for them. You guys know me....I'm such a planner! The girls eat breakfast in the morning and then go right to the dining room table to start their work. As soon as I've figured out the things we need to focus on the most we will be well on our way to getting caught up. I gotta be honest though. I'm really looking forward to the hands on, no books kind of learning that we can get from visiting historic buildings and museums. That's definitely going to be fun for the girls (and maybe momma too!)
So, I've gotta say that trying to get back into blogging on a daily basis hasn't happened yet. I'll pause while you think to yourself, "well, duh, Kaleena!" One of these days my life will slow down and give me a chance to catch up. I hope. A girl can dream, can't she? I'm really trying to schedule more "ME TIME" when I can and hopefully, I will be able to manage at least one or two posts a week soon. I miss my blogging buddies. I wish I could post some pictures for you guys, but I really am getting ready to pull my own hair out right now. The girls are having a heated dispute over who gets to open the box of cereal and pour it in to a bowl for Delaney. I fear it will come to blows as it most always does these days. Maybe I should go to the kitchen and referee before there is blood shed? (insert little girl shrieks here.....) On secind thought, maybe I'll just let them fight it out while I hide under the coffee table. :)
I'm so excited! Jess from CSN contacted me and asked me to do a review. I've been looking for days, trying to pick the item that I want to review, but I just can't decide. CSN has 200+ stores to shop in and they sell everything from corner TV stands to toys. What's a girl to choose? I've looked at indoor toys, outdoor activities, dishes, furniture, gardening tools, and so much more. I just can't decide. I think I've finally decided to let the girls pick something.
