Hangin Out With My Girls

We didn't have anything scheduled for today so I planned another adventure to the park. I woke the girls up this morning and fed them breakfast. Laid out some play clothes for them to wear and we were out the door. They wanted to stop in at Wal-mart to pick up some sand buckets for the sandboxes at the park. They LOVE to play in the sand:) We picked out a few of the cheaper sand toys and were in line paying for our goodies when my cell rang. Laney's therapist, Tina, was on the phone. Delaney was on the schedule for therapy (all of her therapies!) Friday. Seems that everyone else on the schedule had already called and cancelled their appointments because of Good Friday. Delaney was the only reason they would all have to come in and work. Now, I would gladly come to work just to see Laney's sweet little face, but these ladies have their own families to spend time with. Long story short, Laney's therapies were moved forward to today. As in, as soon as I could get there. As in, no park play with the new sand toys:( The girls were disappointed, but very understanding. Now Delaney is free tomorrow to go with them to a Easter party:)

Delaney started her Aquatic therapy today. She had Aquatics for awhile last year, but we had discontinued it. She wasn't real excited to start back, at first. She was a little afraid of the pool at first. I don't think she remembered having it before. She quickly warmed up to the idea of Aquatics after Tina and Chelsea let Destiny and Paisley play in the water too. They had a blast and their disappointment over the park was quickly forgotten. All in all, it was a pretty decent day. Of course, any day with my three best girls is a good day:)

We'll be going to a party tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll get some good pictures of them during the egg hunt:)

Hope everyone had a beautiful day!

On a side note:
My brother is doing better. He's not sounding very chipper or cheerful, but he's still hangin' in there:)
Also, I DID finish the Easter dresses this past weekend. I was so worried about my brother that I forgot to mention that! We went to have pictures taken on Tuesday and I will be posting some of the pictures as soon as they are edited. They all turned out so good!
Can't wait for everyone to see them.

  1. Aqautic therapy sounds interesting. Hope Delaney enjoyed it - it probably helped to have her sisters in there the first time. We are waiting patiently for dress pictures as well as Easter party/egg hunt pictures. Hope you are enjoying having the two older girls home this week. Hugs to all.

  3. At least it all worked out. I love when something disappointing turns out okay.

Counting the minutes until I can see the dresses. Okay, I'm being way overdramtic, but I just can't wait to see how they turn out after the whole scissor dilemma.
