Dr. G (her ENT) said that her tonsils and adnoids are okay for now, but she has an extreme frenulum that will have to be repaired. Unfortunately, because the frenulum is so extreme and because of Laney's age and other health issues, we have to be admitted into the hospital for the surgery. So my sweet little Laneybug will be admitted Monday morning for the surgery. Please be in prayer for her (and us, as we are ALWAYS nervous when she is put to sleep!) on Monday. Her stomach surgery is scheduled for Friday (just 4 days later) at a different hospital) and the ENT said it would be perfectly ok to go ahead with that procedure, as well, but I'm considering rescheduling Friday. I think that's just an awful lot for Laney to have to go through in one week! I'd like to give her a reprieve between hospital visits. I pray that I am able to make the right decision for Delaney! Thank you all for your prayers for my sweet girl. I will let you know what I decide about the tummy surgery, as soon as I make the decision. Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!

I am so glad that you were able to get a car for the morning...and I will pray for Laney.

Thinking about you and your family. I pray that the procedure goes well. Remember that you are loved and relax in that knowledge.

Boy, Kaleena. I'm with you. I think I'd want a little more of a break between surgeries, too, if it's not life threatening. Give her little body a chance to recover but what do I know. Just one mother to another. We'll be praying.
ReplyDeleteSo much to go through all of the time! God is going to use you in some pretty amazing situations. All of these tests and trials are giving you a "special" heart, and God is not going to waste that. Keep your strength strong, and know that the Lord is always holding you.

Thank you so much for lifting our family in prayer. I came over to see what was going on with your precious little ones. Praying that tomorrow goes well tomorrow. I trust that you are all in the best hands.
ReplyDeleteBrook is on day three of chemo, so far she is just very tired. Praying this first round knocks her into a remission...
I hope all is well with your precious little one. Prayers are being sent your way. As far as holding off on her tummy surgery...Go in a quite room and listen. He will guide you.
ReplyDeleteLove and prayers to you and your family.
