Fever In The Morning

Paisley woke up Saturday morning with a low grade fever and no desire to eat breakfast...strange for her, but not unheard of. This was at around 7am. By 10am her fever spiked to 103 and she was throwing up. Yuck. Poor thing was so sick that she stayed in bed all day. Sunday was not any better. She laid around all day. I've been giving Motrin and Tylenol since the fever started, but it won't break. She's not had any food since Friday at dinner and can't keep ANY liquids down at all (as of this morning) so to the doctor we go. Her fever is running around 103.4 this morning. This is after 'round the clock Motrin/Tylenol/Motrin/Tylenol......you get the point.
I still can't seem to kick this flu-bug and that's got me feeling drained. Hopefully, the doctor will be able to help get Paisley feeling better quicker than what it is taking me. I don't think she's got the flu. Then again, what do I know? Anyway, gotta go get her ready to take her to the doctor. I'm waiting on the nurse to call back with an appointment time---they gotta work her in.

  1. Oh poor Paisley !! I hope the doctor figures out what's wrong and gets her all better soon. And I hope you get all better very soon too Kaleena! Don't worry about a messy house right now because you getting better is more important then spending all your energy on cleaning, okay?

Let us know what the doctor says!

  4. Kaleena....It is so hard when our children are sick. They depend on us...look to us...and we hurt when they hurt or are sick. I pray that Paisley feels better soon. Please, keep me posted.
    Hugs to you from Jackie
