Broken Bank
Delaney's beloved piggy bank was broken today. For some unknown reason, the big girls took it upon themselves to take it down off the shelf it was resting on and drop it on the hardwood floor. It smashed into a MILLION pieces! My poor little Laney is heartbroken. Oh how she loved to feed her piggy! The look on her face when she saw that it was broken beyond repair was enough to make me cry too.

ReplyDeleteDid you tell her that it might be time to 'scoop up those coins' and put them in a bank....opening her very own savings account....That might make her feel better...and special to have her own passbook....trying to take her mind off the loss and turn the unfortunate breakage into something positive.
I know it broke her li'l heart.

Yeah, putting them in a bank is a good idea. Or using some other container for awhile until another one comes along.
