It's another rainy day in McNabb Land. We are skipping all appointments and staying indoors. Paisley is feeling alot better, but still has alot of congestion. I think she will be better in time for the weekend. Laney has a barking cough this morning and so does Destiny. No fever yet, so I'm praying that they don't get sick. I'm so tired today and I really hope that this insomnia is subsiding so that I can sleep tonight. I'm really running out of ideas for things to keep me busy in the middle of these sleepless nights. Last night, I made a hairbow holder for Laney's bows. I don't really consider myself to be the crafty type, but I think it turned out pretty good. I need to get some brown paint to put her name on the front. I also decided to take up hairbow making. I've made a few and I will post pictures of them when I get a chance to take the pictures. I think that I might make several bows to give away as Christmas gifts to my niece and maybe some of the girls' friends. Maybe when I post the pictures of my bow you all can give me your opinion. I had never made a bow before, but I had some ribbon tucked away in my scrapbook stuff and thought I could give it a try. Laney loves her hairbows and I thought it would be nice to be able to make her bows instead of buying them. Bows are so darn expensive and we can never seem to afford the really pretty ones. All of Laney's bows are just solid color Wal-mart bows. I wanted her to have some pretty "print" bows. Destiny and Paisley saw the ones I've made so far and have decided that they want some bows too. Lol, look what I went and got started.
Well, I was hoping to post a little more, but my Laneybug is up from her nap and trying to poke the dog's eyes out! I guess I better run! Hope you all have a great day!
Glad to hear that Paisley is home and feeling better! It is a yucky, rainy day here, too. I'm hoping it is nice this weekend so we can go take some fall pictures!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see pictures of your bows! Hope everyone gets feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry that you have not been able to sleep at night. That must be an aweful feeling! Good use of your time though making hairbows for your girls!
ReplyDeleteHi Kaleena, whew, I'm having a hard time catching up :) I think that is a lovely idea to do hair bows! Hopefully the girls won't get the bug and Paisley will continue to recover :) Thanks for the award, it was so sweet of you. I'm so far behind I may not get to it anytime soon though.
ReplyDeleteMy dear friend, if only we lived closer, we could keep eachother company on the nights-we-just-can't-sleep and then I'd help make those bows! Can't wait to hear about them.
ReplyDeletePraise God that Paisley is better, and I will be praying that no one else gets sick. Also, I really am praying hard that you will have deep slumber tonight and that you will be strengthened for a new day tomorrow!
