Updates

This week, Delaney had her 2 year check-up at the doctor's office. Her RSV is gone and she has another ear infection. I think she may be getting tubes after Christmas. Tubes, of course, are not a big deal. Paisley had them when she was a baby. Paisley's little ear drum actually ruptured when she was about a year old! It healed okay though:) I'm always anxious to see how much Delaney has grown from one appointment to the next. This week Delaney was:
24 pounds and 4 oz.
33 inches tall
19 inch head circ.
She is in the 25% for height and weight and in the 75% for her head size! Her head has always grown faster than the rest of her?! Guess that means she has a big brain!

It's been awhile since I updated on Laney's speech and OT. She is still doing both therapies 3 days a week (when she's not sick!) and is doing pretty good with both. She's taking a break from the physical therapy and we're going to wait to see how she developes without it for awhile. She's also still having a teacher come to the house every week. Laney likes all of her "people" and is always really happy to see them. In OT last week she actually met and passed one of her goals. She stacked 9 wooden blocks before they fell! Her goal was 4-5 blocks, but she got 9!!!! I was so proud of her and so was Miss Tina:)
In Speech, she is working on feeding and language. She still doesn't talk on level, but I am proud to say that she is using a few words now and LOTS of sign language.

she also says Bob (the name of her little stuffed dog)
She loves to give hugs now and kisses when she is going somewhere and leaving one of us at home. She also waves bye and hello. She also has this cute thing she does when she's in the bath tub. If she's ready to get out of the tub she'll knock on the wall and yell "DAAAAAA, owwwww! "
She's trying to tell her daddy to bring us a towel!

Paisley still has a fever so I kept her home today. She's not having any other symptoms so I didn't take her to the doctor this morning. Destiny had a musical at school today. It was so good! I love going to those things! She was so happy to see us there:) I hope that Paisley is feeling better before tomorrow. She has a Christmas play tomorrow and will be so sad if she has to miss it. I know that she has worked really hard to prepare for it. I'll be sure to let you know if we make it to her play tomorrow:)

Oh! I almost forgot to update on my Sugar! She's doing pretty good. Sleeping alot and not really moving around much, but she does seem to be looking better:)
