Just Mad
I am so angry. The problem is, I don't know who or what to be angry at. A few hours after I published my last post I went to brush my teeth. I brush my teeth ALOT. Call it an obsession if you want. Well, I was brushing my teeth, still in agony over my jaw and the holes where my teeth once lived. As I was brushing the top/back teeth (next to where my top wisdom tooth once lived) I felt a bit of pain. When I went to spit, well, I spit out little pieces of tooth. My back tooth just crumbled and broke. I took a look and sure enough, there's a hole in the side of my tooth. My tooth that looked healthy before I went to see the dentist on Monday. What happened? I haven't got a clue! Did the dentist slip with his drill? Did he damage my tooth and neglect to tell me? Is this something that I did wrong? I don't know the answers to anything. I called the dentist and he told me to come in tomorrow at 10 and he'll take a look. It will probably have to be pulled though. As if I don't already hurt enough! This is just great. Will you please pray that I am ok at the dentist tomorrow and that I don't lose anymore teeth than this one (and the ones I lost on Monday!) I am more angry over the cost that the pain. We spent our entire income tax return on fixing the damage from our roof. I had to take the money from my electric bill to pay the dentist on Monday. I don't even have the money to pay another big fee at the dentist (let alone my light bill now). Please pray that things will work out for us. I just feel so angry!

I can't believe this. You will have to remain strong through this next ordeal. I hope that all goes well tomorrow for you and that it is a no fee day. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
ReplyDeleteI am praying so hard for you!!! and trust me, I would help your family financially if I was able to. All I could give right now is a lot of hugs, and 2 leftover T3's from when I got my wisdom teeth out...but I'd definitely find a way to get you some flowers and a chicken, if I lived closer :)

Wow! You have been through a lot lately. I hope that you have a solution about what to do next with your jaw/tooth. Plus I hope you heal quickly so you can move on with the things you need to be doing instead of being in pain. Prayers going up for you.

So sorry to hear this sweetie! I am shocked they allowed you to brush your teeth first of all... I could only rinse for the longest time... but regardless, I am also just shocked at how poorly this whole experience has gone! That dentist doesn't seem to have a very high standard of care! Praying you get some solutions and some relief today!
ReplyDeleteOh man! Hopefully the dentist can fix this for you easily. And if he was the one to cause it, he better not charge you for it! And if it's just a nasty coincidence, maybe he can bill you in installments so you don't get stuck with a huge lump sum? I hope it goes well!

ReplyDeleteBut what is one to do....?? We have no choice.
I had a root canal... It went 'bad'....had to go back and have surgery and have the bottom portion of the root cut off (gum surgery)...the part that the dentist didn't do the proper root canal on. Did I pay. Yep. Angry? Yep. What is one to do....? And yes, they require payment up front. That's what I don't understand.... I am so very sorry for your pain...for your anger....but know that you have a shoulder here. Vent on, my friend.
